WeWay

WeWay is a musical project formed by three Mapuche women: Ivana Puel Catriel, Yuliana Nawel Paredes and Melisa Cabrapan Duarte, who reside in Neuquén capital city in Puel Mapu (Argentina). They were born out of the need to express themselves and to support each other in the processes of recovering and searching for their identity as Mapuche women.

Through their songs, they speak of their awakening as women, their struggles, their dreams and their deep connection to their lands. Their music seeks to be a channel to transmit the voices and energies (newen) of their ancestors and to resonate with future generations.
